RSVSR What to Know About GTA Online New Odd Jobs Week
Los Santos is usually all gunfire and getaway cars, so it's kind of wild when the game tells you to clock in and behave. This week's GTA Online update (Jan 29 to Feb 4, 2026) leans into that "regular job" fantasy, and it actually works. With all Odd Jobs paying out 2x GTA$ and RP, even the small gigs feel worthwhile, and if you're trying to stack GTA 5 Money without living in a heist lobby, you'll probably end up doing more shifts than you planned.
Joining the Fire Department
The new Firefighter role is the one everyone's going to talk about, and yeah, it deserves it. You're not just hosing down a wreck on the freeway and calling it a day. You sign on with the Los Santos Fire Department and bounce between different calls—big structure fires, sketchy gas leaks, and the sort of ridiculous rescue missions that make you laugh when you realise you're taking it seriously. The best part is the pace. One job is hectic, the next is methodical, and you're not constantly worried about catching a wanted level for doing the objective. It's a clean way to play, and it still feels like GTA.
Forklift Certified, Apparently
Then there's Forklift Operator over at the Alpha Mail warehouse near LSIA, and it's way more tense than it has any right to be. It's a timed loading challenge, so you're inching forward, trying not to clip anything, nudging pallets into place, and staring at the clock like it's a finale. Miss the angle and you'll waste seconds fixing it. Nail it and you feel like a pro. There's also a simple grind reward: complete five successful loading sessions before Feb 4 and you unlock the Forklift Certified Outfit, which is exactly the kind of stupid flex people will wear for weeks.
Paper Routes and Weekly Rewards
If you want something calmer, the Paper Route job is basically a cruise with a paycheck. You ride through neighbourhoods tossing the Los Santos Meteor to subscribers, and it's oddly relaxing when the lobby's chaos starts to get old. It sits nicely alongside other Odd Jobs like Pizza Delivery, and if you can't find the markers, it's usually just a blip setting in the Interaction Menu. On top of the 2x payouts, there's a wardrobe bonus too: finish five different Odd Jobs this week (mix the new stuff with classics like QuickiePharm or Safeguard) and you'll get the Downtown Cab Co. Revere Collar Shirt within 72 hours, which is an easy reason to rotate activities instead of spamming one grind.
Making "Clean" Cash Feel Worth It
What surprised me is how satisfying it is to play GTA like you're not the problem for once. You're still earning, still levelling, but the vibe is totally different—less stress, more rhythm, and it's easier to just hop on for 20 minutes and leave feeling like you actually did something. And if you're the type who likes keeping your setup efficient—earning in-game, grabbing cosmetics, and staying stocked for the next big content drop—some players also use RSVSR to buy game currency or items as a quick boost, then spend their actual playtime on the fun jobs instead of the boring grind.
