u4gm Sees Aftermarket Dealers Boosting FH Cars

A car meet should be more than a nice place to park for thirty seconds. Right now, plenty of players roll in, check who's there, then disappear back into races or menu screens. That's a shame, because collecting FH6 Cars is meant to be a big part of the Horizon loop, and meets could give that hobby an actual home instead of another empty marker on the map.

The empty-room problem

Playground Games has already nailed the technical side. You can drive into a meet straight from free roam, no awkward loading screen, no separate lobby to join. It feels smooth. But smooth access doesn't automatically create a reason to stay. Most meets have no changing stock, no useful activity, and no reason for collectors to return tomorrow. Players aren't avoiding the feature because it's broken. They're avoiding it because they've already seen everything it offers.

A badge brings traffic, not a community

The Series 2 Dodge Ram challenge proved that a temporary objective can fill a location for an evening. It also showed how quickly that crowd vanishes once the reward is claimed.

Italy gave players a real excuse

Series 3's Italian Takeover update changed the mood around Horizon Stadium almost by accident. The aftermarket slots started rotating Italian cars that were normally locked behind Wheelspins, rare drops, or pricey Auction House listings. Suddenly, people had a reason to check in. You'd see players arriving in different builds, hanging around longer, using Link Chat, and comparing what they'd found. It wasn't forced socialising. It was just the natural result of putting something worth chasing beside a meet.

Give every meet a reason to exist

Permanent rotating aftermarket dealers would make far more sense than another badge hunt. Each meet could offer a small pool of hard-to-find cars, with stock changing on a clear schedule. Not every rare car needs to be available at once. That would kill the excitement. Still, a fair rotation gives players who missed a Festival Playlist another chance months later, without making luck or huge Auction House bids the only options.

1. Show the next stock reset time at every meet.

2. Keep each dealer's car pool small and useful.

A better loop in practice

The key is that the cars need to be desirable, but not absurdly easy to grab. Players should feel they've found something, not simply opened another Autoshow catalogue.

Meet feature Current feeling Rotating dealer result
Visit frequency Usually one visit Regular check-ins
Player interaction Brief parking Trading tips and comparing garages
Rare car access Luck or expensive auctions Another fair in-game route

Protect the social side

There's a line to avoid, though. If every dealer becomes a daily chore, players will resent it. The best version is relaxed: visit when you fancy it, browse what's there, maybe spot a car you've wanted for ages. The meet itself should remain the draw. The dealership is the spark that gets people through the gate. Once they're there, the cars, builds, photos, and random chat do the rest.

1. Let players inspect stock before making the drive.

2. Keep meet rewards separate from daily login pressure.

More reasons to come back

Reports of a Festival Playlist Pagani Huayra R appearing in an aftermarket slot have made players wonder whether this system is already being tested. If it is, Playground should lean into it. Car meets don't need complicated minigames or scripted conversations. They need stock that changes, cars people genuinely want, and enough breathing room for players to make the place their own. For collectors who want to fill a garage faster, some also choose to buy Forza Horizon 6 Cars while still checking in-game rotations for the fun of the hunt.
